Louise Gardiner

Louise Gardiner, Owner, First Principles

I bring 15 years of international experience working with businesses and the financial sector on innovative responses to environmental and social challenges. I continue to support creative projects with banks, investors, and civil society to help the private sector shift to more sustainable ways of working.

Along the way, I developed a passion for helping individuals, teams, and groups at all levels to collaborate more effectively.

I would love to work with your business to design systems that cultivate collaboration, personal leadership, and empowered, self-organizing teams.

As a facilitator, I assist groups that want a neutral party to help them navigate a complex discussion or change process.

As a mediator, I can guide and support you to proactively resolve conflicts, whether in the workplace or in business relationships.

I hold an MA in International Relations from the Brussels School of International Studies through the University of Kent in Canterbury (UK) and an Advanced Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution through the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA) and the University of Pretoria (South Africa).

I am an Accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator through the African Centre for Dispute Settlement (ACDS)  and the ADR Group (UK).
